Got slapped around a little by a cammed LS1..

We line up.............I spun quite abit but still had 1/2 car on him, I hit second and he missed second which put him 2 cars behind. He held that postion till I got close to 80-90 mph ...........then here he comes. He passed me pretty good. I was impressed. He said he had the usual bolt ons and a GM hot cam with extensive valve train work. I thought he was on the giggle gas the way he passed me. BUt he was all motor. Pretty cool guy............its good to lose to a good sport. No old schooling going on here. There was a new teacher in town.

I like the fact that my car is dependable. I would always like to go a little faster though. Next power adder might be the giggle gas. Never ran it on a hydraulic flat tappet motor before. The best that I have done at the local 1/8th mile is 8.33's...........Which I consider somewhat slow.
