first time ever at the track!

Went to the track for the first time ever today. I didn't do as well as I could've but good times anyway. I didn't realize how different it is racing at a strip rather than the street. Anyway, I had some interesting results. I ran 13.88 @ 101.6 and then 13.86 @ 100.1. Why the same ET with a worse MPH? Everything else seemed the same. All in all I think I could've got a mid to low 13 with better driving and launch.

I made three runs:

First run bogged off the line and missed third. Hahahaha.
2.26
14.2 @ 98

Second run. Better launch, but still not good.
2.21 60'
9.03 @ 80.54 1/8th
13.88 @ 101.6 1/4

Third run. Basically the same.

9.00 @ 80.54 1/8th
13.86 @ 100.1 1/4

Based on your mods in sig, you should be running about 10@160 in the quarter.......might need a tune.

Re: first time ever at the track!

Your trap speeds are low for your mods. Of course it may be your track. Not sure what your DA is.

I once took the 99 to the mountains in west virginia and the higher I went up the weaker the car got , LOL.
