Thats like a 4 second race, and thats being generous. Your car is manual and his obviously sounds automatic.

You sound like those electric car guys. "ZOMG MY CAR TAKES OFF FROM 0-6 FASTER THEN UR CRAPPY V8" Who cares? You every advantage going into a pointless race from 40-90. I dont think u would have even needed the turbo to beat an auto at that range.

yawn
butt hurt?

BTW learn to read

Then as i slow down he creeps up and gets next to me and looks at me and counts to 3. At 3 we both take off and i instantly pull like 3 cars on him. (we started at a 40 roll)...I let off at 90 with half a car length lead on him (he caught up but at 90 i was starting to oull him again). After the race he pulls up next to me and goes "that things nasty, Have you dynoed it? im like no i havent gotten to a dyno yet...then hes like well i had my dyno'ed last week and im at 480 HP to the wheels. (So i was like holy **** i didnt really know my car had this type of potential)...then he proceeds to tell me that not very many cars have ever beat him and that I was the best race hes ever had. What really made him confused was after he complemented me on my car and said i was the bext race hes ever had, I told him my car was only a V6...then he took off
Nice kill man. The guy you are talking about also posts here and I think he has posted some videos from the track too.

His car is an A4 first of all... read his signature.

Car sounds pretty badass... V6 with a T70. I didn't even know they made T70s but that's gotta be a huge *** turbo! How much boost you running?

7 PSi which is at full boost at 3100....

My MAF is MAXED at only 3 psi because the turbo is so big. 7 PSi is as high as i can push with stock injectors, 6:1 FMu and high pressure fuel pump. This weekend im having a different motor swapped in (mines kinda messed up) and then i will be getting 65 lb injectors...then off to the dyno tune for 15 PSi followed by the 1/4 to see what she can run

and WheelmanZ28 you need to read, learn how to read, or get new glasses (if you need them) because if you look at my sig. it says im a A4...not to hard to notice, just takes a little literature skills.

Was rather confused by the downshift remark, but I guess I get what your saying. GG with the LEARN TO READ joke, once was plenty.

i'm still not buying it, this doesn't really add up

Re: First kill since turbo....

I dont think a 3.8L camaro running 7psi can beat a "480 hp" el camino granted the camino's a bit heavier. But anything can happen on the street. Im pretty sure its hard to get an LT1 to put down 480rwhp on 7 psi unless you do full bolt ons, obviously upgrade the injectors and lots of tuning. Thats 530-560 hp at the crank on a generous drivetrain loss. There must be some hp/weight ratio im miscalculating.

Re: First kill since turbo....

even if he can beat a 480 hp car, it sounds fishy when he pulls 3 cars instantly on him. It would have been more realistic if it was like a half car or something, but 3 cars instantly? come on...
