Ever have this happen?

Well this rice burner (civic hatchback) comes flying up next to me and we get side by side at the light. I look over & notice he has the typical pillar gauges, decent wheels & paintjob. So he starts reving the **** out of his 4 cylinder (hitting the rev limiter) before the light changes. So I gave it a lil gas & held the brake in to let him know I was willing to play. Light turns green & I decided to just mash the gas, breaking free all over the place. I dont even think he tried to launch because I could'nt hear his engine at all when it turned green. I guess he just wanted to see me take off? So he catches up to me & looks over & it looked like he was laughing, could'nt see too good cause this was at night. Oh well.....

Sometimes it looks like they are laughing but in reality they are actually crying. Dont bother with ricer turds like that, just brush them off, save the racing for real man cars.

I don't race ricers unless I hear a turbo or see nitrous purge. Waste of time and gas.

Re: Ever have this happen?

Had the same experience comming home from Brick on Hooper Ave. I was at the light by OCC when a hatchback Civic pulled up, rims, big fart can, gauges, and of course the primer paint job, and looks at me revs a few times and has a stupid looking grin on his face. So I reved, light went green and I don't think he even moved for a while. He finally caught up to me passing the mall and gave me the thumbs up, so maybe he just wanted to see a smoke show. Myabe now he will learn his Civic isn't fast, even with VTEC!

I smoked 2 guys racing each other in civics (they looked real beat up but still riced) in the 04 Ranger work truck from the light right by the Mickey D's on 37...Ricer Killing are a dime a dozen out there

Re: Ever have this happen?

I always seem to get challenged by Grand Ams and Grand Prixs. Doesn't matter if a girl or guy is driving, they'll launch and squeal the tires. Let em get a car length or two ahead and nail it. Right after passing them it'll hit second and light em up again. They never seem to wanna play at the next light. . .
