well i jaut kind of figured you were replying to my post seeing as i was talking about fast dsm's, and said that car was doing probably 11s, and i was the only one discussing those 2 things(dsm's and the et)

 

Maybe i did then. I was reading through every post without looking at who posted. So i just replied. I saw alot of the "dsm must be fast" replies. Don't take it personal. I just don't think that particular viper is very fast. And like i said. If it weren't for the few cars it put on the viper from the stop they would've been a pretty close race.

it doesnt take much to make a DSM run 12's, they are very responsive to minimal mods. i have 3000 total spent on my laser and it ran a 14.6@100 on 3 cylinders (on plugs electrode was gone i have pics of it) my camaro has alot more money into it and is alot slower. i used to bash the DSM's but now i have nothing but respect for them

 

Told ya it runs 12's. As for your camaro running slower then 14.6. Poor guy. I don't think any mods are needed to go faster then that. But with tires you'd definitely see better times.

I apologize if i gave you the impression that i was tryin to make you look like an idiot. I wasn't. As for low 12's being fast. An AWD car will get to low 12's MUCH faster then a rwd car on stock tires. I was running low 12's with 2.2 60'. And i was emberrased to even go back to my friends after the runs because i know i'm the slowest of the bunch. That's just to give you an idea of how slow low 12's is. AWD helps alot.

 

no its cool jagger...you have to understand that talon im sure is his daily, just like my t/a is my daily*except nice weather then its the bike * low 12s-high 11s is a VERY FAST daily...i DO NOT believe in only track cars

and yes awd does get to 12s alot faster but, rwd is ALOT more fun

 

it was made in america (bloomington IL I think?) but eclipses aren't gay, I've got a friend with a 98 GSX that'll keep up with my car in the quarter, and out handle it all day.
