I thought it was a Carrera or a Cayman but it turned out to be a GT3! He did a fly by2 times on me and i tried to line up with him froma roll but he wouldn't. He came from behind doing about 60 i nail it and what do you know...TCS made me bogg like a mf! But i could tell by the way he was pulling i was outta my league at the moment. I'll see him again...with more mods...lol

 

Supercharge it, then you shouldn't have any problems, lol.

VW Goodness? Porsche does all of their own engineering. As it stands now, they own a ~20% stake in Volkwagen AG, but the hardware doesn't have anything at all to do with VW.

911 GT3 is a quick car -- 415bhp at 7600rpm with an 8400rpm redline on a 3.6L flat 6, and only 3,075lbs. Plus, no car gets the weight on the rear tires like a 911! 0-60 in 4.1, top speed 193.

Look out for the GT2, though -- turbocharged with about 100 more horsepower, but otherwise basically the same car.

Those GT3 are fast for N/A. I beat a yellow one twice. The third time he did his fly by and through a bottle of beer at my car. Not a nice guy.

Where did you get 415hp. They come with 381hp

Sorry to hijack, but this reminds me of an encounter my friend had with one of germany's finest 2 years ago. My friend was on his way to Mosport racetrack for a lapping day in his C5 when a yellow 996 GT2 rolled up next to him. The guy in the porsche paced my friend, pointed at his car, and snickered thinking it was just another punk kid driving a vette. So my friend pointed at his car and told him "you go first". The GT2 hit it, and pulled for a second until my friend went WOT and spun his tires at over 100 kph and passed the GT2 literally sideways within a couple of seconds. The poor porsche driver didnt know what hit him: ARE built 436ci motor that powered that C5 to 144 mph traps on a 100 shot. Look up a video called "smokin joe launi" to see a vid of the car.

 

I'll get a kill on on him one day...lol. I am still hunting for a Carrera. this guy has been talking big **** but is nowhere to be found. Up first will be coworkers 2005 GT with Magnaflow catback and cold air, then another coworkers special edition 350Z track pkg with Nismo exhaust. Both are nice but they won't give me no respect, they claim to pull on SS and WS6's all day. I'm thinking they are mixed up with the V6 fbody's. No offense V6er's.

 

They'd probably both be able to pull on a stock LT1... maybe they haven't encountered an LS1 yet?

 

Fast cars, last year a kid was driving his dads GT3. Was really cocky and pulled up next to my buddies 04 R1.... lets just say it was not pretty...

I have talked to Mr. Macalester a few times (owns CAT aka catipler sp?) He used to have a yellow 96 911 Turbo and a Reintech TT benz, traded in the 911 for something faster... a black 94 911 Turbo Ruf car!


Badest Porsche of them all, I give you the new Ruf 911, for 300k you can run 11.0 out of the box! Something like 800 all wheel hp.
