I had just a downpipe, bigger fuel injectors, and the electronics to control them. Oh, and of course a maual boost controller. The HKS VPC converts a car from mass air to speed density which makes for easier plumbing and quick tuning. They don't make 'em anymore as far as I know. These days people do some kind of blow-through setup using a MAF from a LS1 or LS2 car.

I enjoyed my Stealths (a 92 and a 94) and I'll probably own a 3S again one day but it'll have to be the Spyder VR4 -- I like the idea of a turbo AWD hardtop convertible. It's only 300lbs heavier than my car was. I know of one in TX that's making 650+whp that I have first dibs on buying if he ever decides to sell

Be sure to watch the videos in my sig. I win two but then get blasted by a 130+ mph Supra. I made him earn it though!

***Track times are in!!***

... and the survey says???? .....

12.878 @ 110.15 mph! 1.940 60'

I also ran:

- 12.971 @ 110.97, 2.100 60'
- 12.968 @ 110.26, 2.033 60'
- 12.999 @ 110.49, 2.032 60' (<-- that was my first 12.xxx EVER!!! ... gotta love the .999!! )

I ran a total of 12 passes, 4 of which were in the 12's, the others ranged from 13.007 to 13.663 (2 missed shifts, and a few bad launches ).

The power is definitely there now ... fastest I've ever run before was 107.65, so my speed is up ~2.5 - 3 mph .

The car still has more in it ... I don't have the line-lock hooked up at the moment, and it was only on my last run of the day that I side-stepped the brake and gas, and did a burn out to warm up the tires ... that got me the 1.94 60' time and the 12.87 ... I think if I warmed up the tires even more and launched harder, it should pull down into the 1.8xx's and probably ~12.7's or maybe ~12.6's???

Rock on little LS1!!!
