cc306 bolt on lt1 a4 vrs. c6 t56 (not zo6)

well 1st vette race since the new engine and i was shocked.

Was going down the road and an older guy gets beside me goosing it in a newer black c6. does it a bit and turns on the blinker to go right. i took his lead and slowed and followed behind. after the turn i get in the lane next too him going 10ish. he floors it so i do the same, he jumps me about a car and around 3500 rpm i start catching him and passing him. By the time i shifted into 2nd his front on my rear. we stay this way for about a second and then i started pulling him by the time we shut down at about 80 i had at least 3 cars on him. he then gets in the turn lane gives a and drives off.

i kept a good eye on him and when i pulled him it was a steady pull and the front end of his car was up the whole time so i'm almost positive he didn't miss any gears. i honestly thought i was gonna get pulled a car or 4 lol. maybe the ol lt1 runs better than i expected .

Not that suprising. Those cars only trap around 112-113. I'm sure your car should be in that range with that cam and some head work. Good kill

Damn I miss my CC306 setup Great kill...

With stock heads I got a 360 Modena from a 40mph roll to 120mph by a couple car lengths... pulled like a damn freight train.

Sounds about right, your average c6 driver hits high 12's and w/ the 306 and the head work you should atleast be in the low 12's
