I came across this on the honda-tech.com, and found it pretty cool. Seeing the C6 Z06 in action with nitrous. Again I found this thread so don't know the details.

that SS walked the Z06 in the 2nd round!! I'd be choked if i spent that money and some punk in a car thats at least 4 years older and lower tech blew my doors off. That vette is still badass though. guess he'll be throwing in a bigger n20 jet in that vette

 

Hmm...I don't understand how the Camaro won...better driver? Btw, did you see how big the vette's wheel well gaps got when he hit it?! ™

 

I think that vette driver probably would've beaten him that second time but he had that truck in his lane so he probably let off a little bit...idk

There is a huge battle thread going on our local forum here. Both drivers are young guys here in Albuquerque. The SS owner races anything and everything any day any time around here. I'm waiting for the "blew my motor" thread to show up on the local forum here....

Oh yeah, in the third round, the video car is an SRT-4....

 

I heard that the vette threw a few codes after the race because he did not break in the car properly. I think if i invested that much money in a car i would treat it like a queen and baby it for at least a month. It would be tempting though to see how many gallons per mile i could get.

 

Whoah boy if I had that Vette I'd keep it at like 1/4 throttle for awhile, LOL......I'd baby the crap out of that car.

 

It can't last long spraying a 200 shot like that. His 10 bolt should blow any day now as well. Too bad there isn't any way to tune a Z06 yet.

 

so if that SS could tear up that Z06, how fast is he running the quarter in?

 

ThackerSS told me that guy won't run in the quarter because he has stock gears and a 10 bolt.

 

holy crap.... so say he had a 12 bolt 3.42 what would he be running

 

His car really doesn't have all that much - cam, bolt-on's, and N20.

the song was disurbed - guarded off their new album 10,000 fists. if you don't have it go out and buy it, they do an awesome cover of land of confusion.

as far as the video goes, damn those were some bad *** rides. although i thought the Z06 would pull away. if i was the Z06 driver I would be pissed that some bolt on cammed SS with juice walked on me. But of course he was stupid for not breaking that car in and strapping the giggle gas to it right away. I have seen some dynos of the new Z06's and they are only putting down like 440 to the wheels.
