Theres was also plenty of auto LS1's that turned near stock LT1 times stock....The 6spd (LS2) car should be well in the low 12's w/ no problem( same power or better as the current z06 and a tad heavier), dont remember any LS1 6spd getting anywhere near that...Id say thats leaps n bounds...I never judge an engines performance on auto times or numbers.

Re: C6 goes down

My first thought after reading your post is that the C6s are faster than I expected. Think about it. A stock 2002 Z28 is no slouch and with your cam, LTs and 4.10's I think you would be pretty well spankin' a stock C5.

If through 2nd and 3rd you just managed to put his nose at your bumper, to me that says the C6 is one fast car for bone stock. And if he's like most vette drivers I've seen, he probably doesn't drive as well as somebody like you who's into it enough to have modded his car. Heck, if you really are a Marine sniper, I'm thinking your coordination and machinery skills prolly ain't so bad

BTW, I'm sportin' H&K SR9 in 7.62 and a Bushmaster Carbon-15 97S my own self. I'm thinking you sniper guys are all about a 700 bolt action, right? Using a real man's round, 7.62 Nato, not a hopped up .22 Mag

Anyway, back to cars. Now my curiosity is up. Must...find...C6....soon Must...show....tailights....before....C6 Z06....shows....up.....

You would be correct MyZ. We shoot a modified Remington 700.

Re: C6 goes down

You all seem to know your stuff about guns so could you please recommend a good "self defense" gun that will work well with an ankle holster? Preferably one that will more than likely get the job done with one shot even if I'm not good at shooting. IOW, if I hit my assailant I want it to make them stop their attack. Thanks
