Talking C6 goes down

I was driving on College ave. here in town, and I saw a burgandy colored C6 in my mirror. He made his way through traffic to get on my right side, and threw me a rev. I didnt now how fast the C6's are, but I thought, what the hell? I was in 4th, and from what I could tell, his was an auto. After his first rev, I was a little trepedacious about giving him a go. Then he threw another one. I dropped to 2nd, and when he heard that, he hit it, as did I. I pulled hard on him in 2nd, and just a little more in 3rd. I ran third almost all the way out, and he let off. I wish he had kept with it, just so I could gauge how I would do at a higher speed against him. When we let off, his headlights were aproximately at my bumper. A few students in town saw it, and started hootin', and hollerin'. We were coming into a more populated area, so we had to lift. At the light, he told me my car sounded great, but, "dont you wish you were in this thing?' He was joking around, but that still makes me dislike most(not all) Vette owners. I told him his car was awesome, but inside I felt like saying,"I wish I was in it.....that way I could see how my new wheels look from behind." The new C6 looked awesome in person, for those who havent seen one yet. The pictures dont do it justice. I'll start saving up for one now....

THE C6 CAN NEVER LOSE!!!!!!!

j/k good kill

and I agree with you about most new vette owners, it seems like them and porche owners are a different breed sometimes.....:blah:

btw, was looking at your mod list.... you should get a ported driveshaft and some synthetic radiator fluid adds 40hp atleast.

Re: C6 goes down

I saw my 1st C6 on Sunday morning and my jaw just dropped. The pictures seriously don't do it, you must see the car in person. This guy knew what he was doin, M6, Targa, Navigation screen, awesome color (copperish color) All in all, 1 badass car.

Re: C6 goes down

as much as i thought the C6 was going to own all performance wise..i don't think they made the same leaps and bounds as the original ls1 did over the lt1..i hear C6 autos dyno in the 320-330rwhp range to me thats awful coming from a whole new (supposedly) platform

Re: C6 goes down

The ls2 is a pretty crazy engine, wish I had one. I was in the ls2.com forums and a set of lt's made over 30 rwhp on an otherwise stock engine! The stock exhaust must be pretty restrictive.

Re: C6 goes down

I just seen a C6 a few days ago and everyones right, the pictures just dont do it any justice. Me and my girl were driving home and in front of me about 4 cars ahead there was a C6, so when we got to a passing lane I floored it so I could catch up and look at it. The guy was driving about 10mph under the speed limit, probably b/c he just picked it up from the dealership
