Got my first run with a 5.0 fox body Mustang this morning. I saw him coming in my mirror haulin *** towards me so I put it in 3rd (A4) and waited for him to get beside me. Once he was there he slowed down beside me (about 70mph) and he nailed it then I hit it passing him up and walked away. He came back for more with the same result and a fly by. After he slowed down I pulled up next to him to give a wave, thumbs up, or something to be a good sport but he wouldn't look at me and exited the freeway. Not sure the mods or anything, sounded like he had a decent exhaust, and Euro tail lights lol.

 

nice kill. no chivalry on the road anymore. if i goat someone into a race and lose, id at least acknowledge the winner.

Good Kill. People need to suck it up, I'm tired of sore losers. When I lost to a Mach 1, I stopped and talked to the guy for 15-20 minutes afterwards

I also have a Z28 (A4), my question is: Does it mess up the transmission when you drop it down to D?

 

Nope it just keeps the A4 from engaging overdrive. I have actually been told by many to keep the tranny in D until I'm over 40mph or so [depending on gaers] to keep from burning the tranny up.

So far i have walked 3 5.0L One of them was modded pretty good tho...Still beat him. He was chocked tho. The last i heard from him was that he wanted to buy a camaro.
