Bolt on Z28 goes down to Cobalt *vid inside*
Now that i saw the video i dont see the big deal. A vert Lt1 w/ bolt ons isnt exactly tearing up the streets...and the cobalt had a good number of mods

Actually this should be in the lounge. This forum is for track kills, not races on the street.
To tell you the truth I realy never took the car to the track after my bigger mods. But I have ran a srt4 gave him 5 cars and let him punch it first and I still Pulled about 3 cars by third. My guess is my car is running low 12s high 11s. It is possible to have a bolton lt1 that runs low 12s or better. If I was the ls1 guy I would spend a whole weak end trying to find out what is wrong. Or maybe he just cant drive. Its ashame he put all that cash into his car and only beat you by a car to 100.

GAY, you are telling me a light bolt on vert LT1 got pulled by you by 1 1/2 cars, and you got pulled by a h/c ls1 by a car? Wow, that is one SLOW h/c ls1 if thats the case. I would bend him over in my "cam only" LT1.
Just an FYI for you guys, a convertible LT1 car is only 90lbs heavier than a comparably optioned hard top car. 90lbs ... I probably make up for that in only being 150lbs myself, and having lost some weight due to headers, !AIR, !CAT, etc.
The convertibles are definatly slower, but the majority of convertibles WERE Auto's with 2.73 gearing. A 2.73 geard hard top is only a tenth or two faster ...
That said, think about it, the dude has a bolt on boosted car. He is running substantially higher than stock boost. And he pulled 2 lengths on a CAI, Full Exhaust LT1 car ... I mean, its impressive, Id rather see him beat it than a Honda. Give the guy some credit.

The lt1 jumped and i still pulled him it looked like more than 1.5cars to me in the vid but he said only 1.5 look in the reflection of the mirror in the building and youcan see how far ahead i am. Btw the guy in the h/c/i ls1 ran another ls1 that runs 11 trapping almost 120 and lost by a fender and he had 700 extra pounds in his car becuase he was racing with 3 friends. MAybe his car was running bad that night but its what happen .
