I have never really raced a C5. a couple of months ago i took out a an auto C6. I have cam, headers, and 4.10s. he got the jump on me from about a 20 roll. i reeled him in and passed him at about 115.

 

but with all those mods "sportsback, Chrome Euro taillights, 4 inch magnaflow tips, 18x9.5 chrome MB Drifters with 245/40/18 falken Ziex's, blue hand painted calipers" i just dont see how your not there yet??

yes i am giving you a hard time. if you wanted a faster car why didn't you buy those parts first before the bling??

to answer 1987IROC350's original post: i smoked a stock 2000 C5 from a roll twice with the streets on the Z up to 100ish. it would have been brutal from a stop with the DR's. he caught up both times around 125ish so eventually the LS1 will win. he was also a very poor driver.

Dude your car will prolly run low to mid 13's with that setup....I had similar mods on the Iroc a while back and thats what she ran....with a good torque converter you'll be tough to beat from a dig...even with my current setup I've been beat by a couple TPI cars till about 1/2 track...thats when the Miniram starts letting the motor breathe.

The only C5 that I've ever lost to was a pretty sweet black non Z06...the guy wouldn't tell me what he had done to it...the cam was obvious...mabe heads too....he put about 5-6 cars on me in the 1/4 and I went 12.8@110...that car sounded bad....however all the C5's I've beat...like all 2 or 3 were pretty close...infact an auto with bolt on's gave me one of the closest races I've ever been in....I only knew who won by looking at the time slip....those cars are so sweet.
