Re: Another sad street racing death story........

theres different severities to each crime. youre right that killing someone while speeding or driving drunk isnt murder because it isnt premeditated and there was no intent. But they did break the law and the rules are there to prevent these things. There was a case in arizona or nevada, on a dateline show 4 or so years ago, where one guy had like 16 dui's and still had a legal lisence and no. 17 killed a couple people.

EDIT:
The accident i mentioned earlier in the thread was about a BSU football player, Cam Hall, racing Lazinka and Lazinka hit a car killing that family and is now serving 30 years in prison for 3 counts vehic. manslaughter. Do you think thats fair?

^ The guy got what he had coming to him. But NO I dont think its fair. He got nothing but a slap on the wrist the other 16 times. If the justice system was doing its thing, he shouldnt have had his liscence for quite some time, and it wouldnt have made it past 2 or 3 times. Also, this individual clearly had a problem with drinking that wasnt treated. Dont get me wrong, I think he should have been a man and dealt with it, but he didnt. And when you dont, isnt that what the courts are for? To fine you and send you to AA and **** and ARD?

if they punish the driver of the camaro that is fcking rediculous. the honda turned in front of them. it says it several times, but they try not to make it too obvious. I feel very sorry for the 15 y/o kid(RIP) and his parents, but wtf thats rediculous. damn

Damn won't be out until 40s'? How does that work, this dude that I went to high school with got his second DUI after crashing his girlfriends dad's jaguar into a tree which killed his girlfriend, one of the guys that were in the back was in critical condition for a while, and the other guy in the back was parlized waist down or something like that and he seriously wasn't even in jail for that long at all. I want to say it was MAYBE 3 months at most, yet this guy won't be out of jail till his 40s? Doesn't make a lot of sense unless that guy is 39 9/10ths years old. But I guess if you got the money you can pretty much buy your way out of anything and if you don't, your SOL.

we all know the second one. vince neil from motley crue driving his ferrari drunk, spun out killing his passenger razz from jett blue. he did 3-6 months in county jail
crazy part here... who in their right mind would drive a stick if only had one arm...

if the driver of that camaro gets any worse than maybe 6 months license suspension, that shows u how messed up our judicial system is. just thinking about that story pisses me off. Technically, the driver of the civic or whatever it was should be charged, and have to pay for that camaro, since it was totalled. but whatever.
