There's a couple guys my gf goes to school with and they're always talkin about how there gonna get such & such car to whip my ***. Well the car for this week is a V-tec with (NOS) F&F word the actual car is unknown we just know it has a v-tec. Anyway aperently it runs 10. flat. (I honestly don't think either one of them have set foot on a dragstrip so throwin #'s around like 9's and 10's sounds posible to them) And those are the only mods they can list. v-tec and nitrous WOW. Oh and they want to put $200 on the race. I told them they might as well right me the check now, and that I would take my bottle out and run em on motor while they sprayed. Just had to make sure everyone else thought this was the dumbest story EVER.

 

get a video of it... that'll make it even worse for them after you bust his ***.

 

There are civics and **** that run those times....I just have never seen any ...get some more details on the car before you put up any $$$

i could pretty much say it's a safe bet that no kid in high school is gonna have enough to get a vtec car to beat yours
quick story, my cousin has a civic si and he's got intake, exhaust, header, type r cams, and all the other bolt ons
i ran him with my stock z28 on bald tires and spun all first gear (first month with the car) and handed him his @$$
he's learned that he will never have his civic close enough to touch me so i'm sure you can take whatever punk tries to bring it
(and my cousin is a full time worker so he obviously had the money to get all this stuff and doesn't come close)

 

LOL don't worry if we ever really do race it will be taped. I'll even line up a car length back. I don't mean to sound cocky but i'm fairly confident against a bs rice burner with my setup. 94 z full exhaust and bolt-ons. 306 cam ported poished heads with 2.02, 1.60 valves. 1.6 rockers 3.73 gears elec. wp. and 125HP shot.

 

Spray them to just to make it better. Unless hes got a MASSIVE turbo hidden you don't have a thing to worry about

 

Ask him if it's 10's in the 1/8th or the quarter... could be either with a Civic.

lol thats hilarios. The thing is the guys we're talkin about would probably believe ya they would be like man a 2.2 my honda is only a 1.8 that things gotta fly. but my moms 2000 impala has the legendary 3.8 don't even mess with that

holy crap, you're looking at near 400rwhp with that setup NA. 480+ on juice. Give him 2 cars and run 1/4 mile... he's toast.

 

Lol same thing happend here ... these guys at my gfs school think that there 04 sunfire...intake thats it will take my trans am because my car is just an auto LOL. But since one of them treatened to kick my *** if i ever came to his school ... the next day i showed up and he ran away so i wont ever get to race cause he is scared of me.

 

Check his engine, race him and take his money. One to many times watching F&F, what a tumor it has become in the racing world

I have seen a few very fast Civics here in Orlando. Central Florida Turbos, a local group and shop, has some really quick cars, some in the 10's yes... However, those are few and far between. I am willing to bet your friends are talking 1/8 mile times.. Sounds about right for a vtec Honda..

I would not put any money on a race, unless I could inspect the car first. Believe me, there are fast 4 poppers out there that can hand you your ***...
