I went side ways and constantly spinning in 1st, shift to second and hook, we are side by side again, shift into third and slowly start pulling on him and beat him by 2 cars. He didn't want a 3rd run!!! I talked to him the next day and he shows me what he's got under the hood, on the TB there was a plate with some racing shops name on it. Come to find out, he had head work, TB port, and mild cam and LT's w/crapmaster muffler. Let's just say, I have a ton of respect for LT1's now!
Thats why the fastest all motor no power adder 4th Gen F-body is an LT1. Because they are peices of shat.
Joe Overton 9.36@143.17. Heads and cam don`t mean crap if the heads were poorly done and cam selection sucked. I`ve seen them run 13.s. Now on my Heads and cam LT1 I ran 11.7. Good kill nonetheless.

Not knocking on the guy, I would most likely say the same if I seen a car that looked like it was straight off a set of jackstands.
Oddly enough though it seems its the crappy looking cars that are crazy fast, or all around turds.
I wouldn't feel too bad if your bolt on LS1 went 1 - 1 against a LT1 with heads/Cam/Exhaust.
