Accord and Thunderbird

For the second day in a row on the way to work I ran into a few cars. One was a guy who just bought a new v6 accord. This race wasnt even close he kept pacing me so I had my car in a lower gear around 3,500 rpms ready for him to hit it. When he did, he faded back very fast. Just up the road was a newer model silver thunderbird. While he was a few cars up I saw him hit it because smoke came out of his tailpipes. I caught up to him and got side by side. The guy in the car starts laughing and grining from ear to ear. He just hit it at 80 mph or so, and got a 2 car lead on me by the time my car downshifted and started rolling. I started to creep up on him to being side by side, he had a car up ahead of him so I went from the middle lane to the left lane and allowed him to get over. After allowing him to get over we were side by side. From 110-130 we were side by side with me inching ahead. My raceweight was around 4,000 lbs. But that was the shock of the day, i was expecting to pull on this guy like none other. That wasnt the case.

Re: Accord and Thunderbird

hmm that is weird. Those retro birds have a 3.9 with 280hp. Not weak, but since you beat a cobra yesterday, i'll say something was done to that car.
