96Z vs 93Z

My buddy just bought a 93Z after riding in mine one day (was a DSM guy) and we have both gone to the track, I ran a 14.124 (2.23 60ft) to his 14.3xx (2.1x 60ft)? Anyways, my car is bone stock, just new lubricants! He has !cat and a cutout. I took him by a car length or two, not quite sure, stay focused on the road, raced to about 80ish. Thought the 93's were the fast ones? Oh well, he thinks he has a chance in the spring with finishing his exhaust, but im getting rockers and headers/y-pipe. We will see!

Re: 96Z vs 93Z

Ive seen some fast 93's....then theres 93's like my buddys..every bolt on/suspension/gears mod known to man and it ran a best of 13.7...14.0's-1's consistantly. My 97 turned those times w/ a cai n muffler. Every car runs differantly from the factory
