That really doesnt say much if we dont know what is done to your car?

For all I know you could have a 10 second supercharged 383 under the hood ... With a little spray just in case ...

What is a Sentra Spec R? Are you talking about the Spec V? Unless it was an aftermarket turbo kit they don't come that way. They are a whole 175hp wrong wheel drive car. I've put 2 lengths on one going through the intersection sideways. Not much of a challenge. Maybe for the 3.8 cars.

It means Daily Driver and yeah for a car that you drive everyday get good gas mileage in, and can have fun driving I would say they are quick.

There is a huge difference between quick and fast. Quick is more like the feeling of being fast. Fast is being faster than 90% of your average cars out there. The Spec V is only a high 15 sec. car. There are family cars faster than that.

I think they are faster than that...bolt on Spec Vs can dip into the 14's. It's a guess from the mess he called a story but I think he said it had a turbo which is probably good for another 3,000 HP so it was easily capable of 6's.

Re: 96 z28 vs sentra spec R

Bolt on what? 75 shot? I've had first hand experience with these cars.

One of my buddies in Texas had one, header, cold air, and exhaust. He would swear to me that he beat a newer Trans-AM. Finally I got him to run my last 94Z and all it had at the time was a Moroso cold air and Hooker exhaust. I seriously had him by two cars through the intersection going sideways. Both cars lacking traction obviously. The race ended after 50mph and I was 3 cars ahead. I had a passenger and the T tops were off. I stand by my original post. At the next light he finally admitted that his car was not all that and I'm sure that if the race would have continued it would have been uglier for the Sentra. A 75 shot was his next mod on the list but a DUI ended those plans and track times.

But don't get me wrong, they are a fun car to drive. They handle pretty good, but they are not fast by any means.
