95z28 vs. 2004 GTO

Alright well i finally got to test my car out against some tougher competition tonight. It was an 04 GTO, my friend says he thinks it was a 6 speed bc he saw the guy jerk the shifter, so either he was manually shifting his auto or it was a 6-speed. We line up at the stop light. I wasnt sure if he was actually going to race me so i didnt even warm up the Nitto's. Light turns green and we are off. I blow the launch and spin all the way through 1st and finally get traction. I still had the lead tho out of first gear but the GTO was right there and finally at the last part of the race was able to pull just a nose on me and we shut them down. I am mad at myself for blowing the launch bc I know had a hooked the GTO would have been done for. Oh well guess I will just have to do better next time. Be safe, Dustin.

Good run! Watch out for the LS2 GTOs.
