Today I was at a red light, minding my own business because my transmission mount is broke so I am trying to take it easy for the time being. I was in the far left lane, middle lane was a Mack truck, and in the far right lane there was an RS Third Gen Camaro. When the light went green the RS floors it and gets 10+ car lengths on me because I wasn’t racing. Then a STi comes out of nowhere, I guess from directly behind me because I never even saw him. The guy in the STi floors it, and that got my attention. The STi gets its rear bumper to my front fender and I then floored it, he cut over immediately and I had to let off the gas several times because I came close to rear ending him. Whenever he shifted a cloud of smoke would come out of the tailpipes, and I would have to let off the gas to not hit him. We both caught up and passed the RS like it was standing still. It was a fun race, I gave the guy in the Sit a thumbs up but he just kept looking straight. We ran up to about 95 or so, the faster we went the more steam I was getting, I wish he wouldn’t have cut me off like that so we could have seen the end result.

 

i ran dead even with a STi with atleast exhuast from a 45-90 roll, driver plays a big part in those cars if you short shift those they will dog untill they get back into the high rpm's
