Tillmans Speed has a nice dyno, they installed my headers and are doing gears for me next week. Phone 610-497-3736, they are just over the line in Aston. Ask for C.R.

ACA in Newark has a dyno. I know European Performance has a dyno as well, but not sure if they'll help you out. My buddy had his 72 Nova dynoed at Evolution Performance, and he said it was like $125 or so.

I had my GN on the dyno at Anderson Performance Auto in Baltimore last Sunday. Cost me $50 for three pulls during the open house.

I am new to this but not to ls1tech. I have a similar story about another crappy driver. I was at kennedale in my I consider it stock 97 and I ran against a 06 gto, stick, 125shot, exhaust, dr's that all I know of and the best he could run was 9.40s spraying and I was running 9.0 flat.

So the GTO on spray was running basically 14 sec numbers?

Traction optional

Nice kill though

well i have to say i raced a 88gt that has slips saying hes runs 13.5 - 13.7 consistently and i beat him by about a car yesterday in a about a quarter mile run. so like someone earlier said theres prolly more stuff done to my car then i know of considering the guy who owned it before me rebuilt both engine and tranny..

No offense bud but a small little piece of paper is going to quell a lot of doubters. All you have to do is hit the track and report back.

Also anything can happen on the street. He could be running those times on DRs or even slicks for that matter.

And lastly you have to let the mindset go that you are going to beat all imports, Dodges and Fords. Hell I had my first loss against a kid with a 01GT. I was all up in arms as I thought there was no way that someone with only 281 cubic inches could take my godly 350. I paid him his 100 dollars and learned a good lesson that day. There will always be someone faster and it just might be a competing car company that has the faster car. Your car is getting to be old tech, the compacts are starting to come out with cars well out of our league stock. Just look at the new Cobalts and STIs, EVOs, ect...

i'm going to say that you probably ran into a bad driver. the same thing happened to me, ls2 gto from a light we went until 70ish and i beat him by half a car which is what he lost every time he shifted. i am sure that the rebuild helps a lot you are starting with a fresh engine as opposed to something with 15 years a wear. i just wouldnt get cocky its not a race you or i should win, unless we happen across a bad driver.
