Cruisin around today with a full tank lol. It "WAS" a great feeling.

Goin down a main road by me.

I'm just driving minding my own business till i look in my sideview and see a guy and a friend zipping to catch up to me. So i wait for him at a light. I go slow off the line he takes off like a bat out of hell spinning and crap. Right to a red light 500 feet away.

I pull up look over at him and throw my hands up like "WHOAA, im scared"

Hes like race me.

Im like bro theres so many cops around here, keep going down to RT-109 (no cops)

We go up...line up 20mph roll.

I look over hes ready to go.

I wave "Go...just go"

He takes off...I give him like 4 cars..I shift down and pull.

3rd gear im at his door.....top of 3rd im gone...4th...pull up..hes about 7-8 cars back.


2nd run::::::

We pull up to a light. So im like **** im in trouble (my car dosent hook very well, at all)

So his friend is like lets go from a dig. I go alright, im gunna spin, but dont bitch out when i pull u down fast. Hes says K.

So im like great I gotta play catch up.

Light Green..

Hes gone, that car hooked well id say. I spun, bogged, ALL 9 yards! lol I messed up BADDLY!

1st spin..hit 2nd spin..finally catch traction, hes got like 6-7 cars on me, but we got TONS of open road...so 3rd gear i pull within a car I slam 4th and blow past him...

We pull into Wendys. Talk

Hes facinated that I only have intake and full exhaust.

Hes like i blow off SS's WS6's all the time. I was like well thats cool. They must not know how to drive.

He had:
Smaller Supercharger pulley
Intake
Exhaust
Shift kit
1.9 rockers? (thats wut he said)
MSD wires
Headers
Lightweight alternator pulley

I was all like yea cool, Gotta go..ur cars slow

With his mod list he'd be in the mid 13s easy.

With Headers, 1.9 rockers, intake, pulley, and simple tune ONLY I ran 13.4@103 on street tires.

His car either sucks, or yours is a STRONG running car.

By the way, with those mods, I put down more power than you. To the tune of 285hp.

Something isn't right.

I ran my cousin in his 94 6 speed formula with intake/cutout only and I'd work him out of the hole and mid range when I was only running 13.9s. But at 90, he'd be BLOWING by me.

Not that I don't believe your story, I'm just saying he needs a tuneup or something.

Try to find out what brand headers he had if you can.

Never seen the guy again.

I put down 272/310 with JUST the cat back though, not mods, just 1 mod.

But back to the kill. I beat a 01 M3 by 3 cars with a really good driver in it.

Ohh....Do you have a GTP? You seem to know alot about them...car looks so freakin heavy

They weigh the same as an f-body. I owned a GTP for 5? years. I sold it after I bought my T/A. It would have hit 12s for about $1600 in mods. I had it in the 13s for $300. A CAI with a simple pulley swap and some cooling mods and you are in the mid 13s.

They are STRONG running cars. Also, they all came with pathetic 2.90 gears. The 3rd gear shift happpens just after the 1/4 mile stock.

those are tin-can shop cars... there are loads of 12 and 13 second mild modded ones here

I know. Are you arguing with me or agreeing? I owned a GTP for 5 years. I barely put anything into it and ran low 13s.

There ARE 10 second DD GTPs out there.

I had one for 2 years, bone stock best I could muster was a 15.0. They are nice car though.

GTP's are gay!
I've only known a couple that were fast, but they had twin turbos.
GTP's are just like a camaro with a V6 engine. Waste of time.
And I dont care what you say, with your car not hooking up or not.
You still should have slaughtered him off the line.
I think he was b-sing you with him beating WS6's, there faster than ss's for some reason, by like .2 secs
and from what ive seen, ive seen stock ws6's pushing low 13's to almost getting in 12's
