90 lx v 99 ls1
i raced my friends 99 ls1. he just had full exhaust, lid, and someother mod i cant remember twhat it is. we raced about 4 times
1) first race was from a 30-40 roll (my speedo is off)
i killed him through 2nd third and quick 4th (checked to see if i had nitrous left and it looked like i did!)
2nd race started from like 30-40 again. we were side by side with me edging
slightly (he thought he edged slightly) we'll call it even- until about 110. then he started to slowly pull.
last race- from first gear roll- i destroyed him- he said he got sideways.
thought i would share. i was impressed that my car was able to hang in the upper gears at high speed w/o nitrous. that is usually when it got destroyed. i think my newly burnt chip helps a lot. i have 4 fifferent settings for it. 2 w/ nitrous and 2 w/o. thought i would share.

But I need more info. Was your friends car automatic or manual? Is full exhaust just a catback or does he have LT headers and ORY also?
How in the hell does a 75 shot of N20 gain you 9 mph in your trap but only .3 in your ET? Seems to me that 114 should be low 12's (maybe even high 11's).

anyway, his is a standard. im pretty sure it is full exhaust with headers, but maybe just catback.
i agree with you on the freaking 12.8 time. im pretty disapointed iwth it. tried spraying in first, right after first, second, middle of 2nd, etc.. best i could pull was that 12.8. 13.1 is NA. i also need to play with the different settings (chip) and see which is quickest- i havent done that yet either. people say i should be solid mid-low 12's with it. if i could hook up, im sure i would be.
any idea on how to get so people can view these pics?
