my friend's moms boyfriend 5.0 stang w/ no mods, (i dont know much about the gens, but its 88 i believe) with no mods, he continually brags about how his car is so much faster then a SS, and hes owned a friend of his with one many times. Anyone have any idea how close a race will be between us?

BTW a friend of mine with a 92z28 lost to him by about 1/2-1 car length ;(

You should beat him pretty easily if he is near stock.

 

hes 100% stock, only mods are aesthetic, if anything the weight from the "decorations " slow em down :P

 

You should beat him by at least 10-15 car lenths in the quater.

 

Like everyone said you should beat him no problem. Just make sure he doesn't take you off the line and shuts down quickly. Other than that you should take him with no problem. Good luck and be safe!

This won't even be a race... it will be a massacre. Hell I wooped the bejesus out of my friends '91 5.0 and he has headers, gears, SFC's, pullies, exhaust, and other bolt ons. I have what's in the sig and I EMBARASSED him. He wouldn't even talk to me for like 3 days it was so bad. You will annihilate this guy.

 

He should pay you just for suggesting such a thing.

If it's an auto you can give him the leave, down a hot dog, jump in your car and still beat him.

 

Maybe even have time to drink a milk shake, take a nap and still beat him.
