This girlt that goes to my church just got this car, a Green.. i cant even tell what it is because of all the body work its got done. new side skirts, hood, fenders, rear, spoiler, completely reworked everything. She bought it from some 'japanese racer' or something. Of course its got the typical 6" exhaust tip and sounds like ****. I know this girl and she doesnt know **** ab cars so I ask her to pop the hood.. (wanted to see if it was a turbo, since he spent so much money on the body)

I opened the hood and i saw V6 DOHC 24-valve. Looked stock because a crazy old cool air intake coming off to the side, looked like he made it, the air filter looked terrible .. crammed with dirt..

I'm unsure of the displacement of the engine but I was wondering if we raced who would win?

Who knows? lol.. 3.0? V6 DOHC 24-valve? I looked it up.. it that is in fact the case.. 140HP stock.

What do you guys think?

 

possibly could be a 300zx or mitsubishi 3000gt....either will be a good race for you. both are around 220ish hp. Where do you get the 140 hp figure from? what car/engine or even brand was that? Rwd or fwd? Manual or automatic? kinda vauge here ya know...

 

wasnt a 3000 gt or a 300zx. i couldve told you if it was. I believe it was an automatic.

 

maybe a Mitsubishi Eclipse GT ...those are 3.0L V6's. I beleive they only come in M5's though. Theyre rated at 200hp. Other than that, i dont know.

 

nope those were SOHC the GT eclipse's never got the DOHC motors

 

Ask the girl what kind of car it is. Or look on the sticker in the driver's doorjam. It should say the make and model of the car.

 

How about an Avenger / Sebring? They look like an extended 95-99 Talon/Eclipse.

 

99ish accord? Was it a auto?(they only came in auto, I beleive)

any chance it was an early 90s GM FWD sedan? Possibly with a 3.4L DOHC v6?
