Thumbs up 2000 Dodge Stratus ES VS. Altima GXE

Tonight I was in my freind's car riding home from Scary Movie 3 blasting some mexican jams. We get to a red light and two gansta's pull up next to us in their Nissan Altima GXE. We started pacing them when the light turned green because they kept looking at us lol....needless to say by 25 or so they punched it, so did we, we kept a car and a half lead on them till 105 or so, then we shut it down and they did a nice ricer fly by.

STRATUS POWER

I am not rasing the BS flag, but it sounds a little corny. Stratus VS Altima.... How many people you had in the Stratus? I don't know what, but something doesn't add up in my head.

Stratus probably has a pretty peppy little v6, while the altima gxe's have a very very **** poor stock 4cyl. The gxe is one of the lower models, and it is the old body style altima, not the new one with the like 270hp motor. My mom had the old body style version, in an se and it was slower than ****.

The race was def real. It was so funny i had to post it on here. Why would I make up a race between a stratus and an altima? What is there possibly for me to prove, its not even my car? There was me and my freind in the stratus, each about 160 lbs. There were two people in the GXE like i stated. What does not add up in your head? Even slow cars race.

I checked online to do a little reasearch for you...

2000 Dodge Stratus ES 2.5L V6:
168 HP @ 5800 RPM
170 TQ @ 4350 RPM
Comes only in A4.
Curb Weight: 3083 lbs

For the sake of argument lets just say it was a 2000 Nissan Altima GXE because it was not an ancient body style.

2000 Nissan Altima GXE 2.4L I4:
155 HP @ 5600 RPM
156 TQ @ 4400 RPM
Comes in A4/M5.
Curb Weight A4: 3027 lbs
Curb Weight M5: 2945 lbs

You are right on! The stratus is not the 4cyl SE, but the 6cyl ES. You are correct.
