2 VERY rare kills WORTH THE READ!
Not really. It can be quicker in the 1320 because you can build a little boost at the line and avoid the bog....but once you're rolling the 6 spd is faster (I've owned both, and the auto is hard to keep in the power band). Average auto TT stock dyno's about 275-285. Average 6spd between 290-315....345 rw stock being the record.

It shouldn't be a driver's race with the mods on that Supra. That's BPU which is around 400 rwhp and 113-118 mph in the 1/4. But anything can happen on the street.

And... the guy in the supra was like 40ish he had the stock twins, exhaust, boost controller, and an intake. The car is fast, its a drivers race from a roll, but from a dig theres no contest. I want a supra tho

Not faster....quicker. And that's not proven, that was just the opinion (or was when I was there) at Mkiv.com. The 6 spd. will trap higher usually, but it's such a bear to launch that the average joe can get a better et with the auto. I hated the auto personally. I'd say with equal 60' times, the stick will win everytime....it's just very hard to launch the 6 spd. for the average guy who rolls in with street tires just to see what it'll do. In 1998, my 6 spd. BPU car set the benchmark (at that time)for non-nos, stock turbo dyno at 443 rwhp. It NEVER broke out of the 13's on street tires
I made over 30 passes before I gave up (wouldn't go with dr's) and quit trying.

That's what I thought too! (although a broken BOV would cause you to lose boost, not gain....but I know what you're getting at)....but this was done at one of the yearly Vegas meets and there were 300+ people present. The car was inspected, boost was checked, etc. It was stock....and a freak. That number hasn't been equalled yet as far as I know.

Nice kills though....the SRT-4's are okay, Dodge built a solid driveline and engine for them....the rest of the car is typical cheap plastic bits....but with a 2.4L motor and a small turbo boost is instant and makes 0-30 alot of fun and with a few simple free mods they can hang with EVO's/STi's

Good kills. I am surprised the SRT10 stuck with you because they only tap 101-102 stock and run very high 13's. The SRT10 is not the fastest production pickup, the L is. I have seen stock lightnings run 13.6-7's @ 102-103 on street tires. The only thing the SRT10 wins in is HP/TQ from the factory.

"13.19 seconds at 107.07"....that's incredible for a 5000 lbs. truck!! However, I'd much rather have another L. Add a chip n filter and you've got that performance, plus better handling and looks IMO....at a cheaper price.
