Well, my 89 RS has a new motor and a fresh prime job, i went to the first meet tonight to see how she would stack against any other cars. First i found a 89 stang with a 306 with cam/heads/ect. He didnt really wanna run, a guy with a 05 chevy truck started his engine for somone so i walked over and he said yea, it has a LS1 with a cam he claimed 224 duration @.050 on both sides and all the bolt ons plus a 4.10 gear, we ran 2 times from a 20 roll, both times this thing kep up with me till i hit third and started to pull away. Then when i went to leave the guy with the 89 said he would run, we went from a 25 roll and i seemed to stick it to him pretty bad, then from a dig(i have 2.73 gears) he left with a good move, i dumped on maybe 2750 and pulled him in and spit him out.

The truck claimed 14.00s and the stang claimed 13.50s. I think the truck might have been BS maybe. It was a good night for a first outing on the ol girl.



She did her thing, the T5 is even still holding up.

Yea, it is quiet till i open the cutouts. The guy in the truck wasnt thinking anything till i cranked it up. I gotta load some sound clips. There was a clean 82 bird but it turned out to be a 305, i was hoping for a f car 3rd gen battle, but killing a LS1 powered chevy and waisting a 89 fox car with a built motor was satisfying for her first run out.
