1994 Z/28 Kills 1994+ Black Mustang GT

Well I am up here at college and in my apartments there are 2 mustangs and me. The first is a fox body and the second a very loud and cocky Black 94-95 Style Mustang GT. It sounds like its got some loud flowmasters, a big hood and fat chrome wheels. Well for about a year I have heard him revving up and running around the lot in 1st gear. I took notice but until tonight we never met on the street. I had heard this manual GT had had everything from a transplanted V6 to a supercharger.

I was driving home from class and I stopped at the last light before the parking lot. I see mustang headlights appear behind me, which is startling to me since they usually are disappearing He sees me look up into the mirror and he flips on his blinker to turn right and revv's the hell out of his car. I could barely hear it over mine at his higher rpms. I make the turn right, as does he. In his turn he gets sideways and tries to pass me on the right side, I have my ar in 2nd, punch it a burn them sideways till we reach a red light. He finally gets there and coasts forward while revving. He and his passenger are giggling like the girls that they are. The light turns green and I coast out as he punches it, he gets about half a car on me until I lay on it and pass him quickly by 2-3 cars in second, spinning the whole way. I slow down quickly coming to the next red light and we both turn left. I follow him back to his turn off and I look over as I pass, no giggling, no smiles, not even a grin. Sheer girly man embarrasment at its best, awww...

Mods are in sig, I believe the car broke loose from the downshift to 1st from 2nd. Althought as stated the shifter was in second.

Ever since the header install I can only drive about 1/2 thottle or less seeing as how anything more induces a nice smokey effect from the rear of the vehicle.

Mustang owners are like honduh owners man, I'm sure he did everything to get in front after the race, just so he wouldn't have to be seeing tail-lights coming into the complex

Damn, I'm being one helluva dick today... for some reason, I don't feel bad either

I dont have any statistical gains from the GMMG, but the SOTP difference was very large. Surprisingly large, I wasnt expecting to feel a difference but when I did I was very pleased. Definately Pulled harder from the bottom all the way to the top! I have a whole long review on the catback, do a search under my name with the topic "GMMG chambered exhaust"

As LT1WanaBe stated, after I flew past the Mustang and the victor was clear I put on the brakes and he continued to race by to the light. It was a 35 zone and I think I slowed around 50-60 after putting several car lengths on him, and there wasnt a chance he was making a come back. I then changed lanes and got behind him, actually hoping to crush him once more if given the chance.

Jon, consult a psychologist for your lack of remorse.
