Friday night Test n' Tune at Monroe in Washington:

This was my second time at monroe with my car and my friends first time as he just got his T/A a week ago.

We ran each other on the first run:

me = 8.01

T/A = 8.5

Best time of the night for the snake was 7.7 and the T/A had a best of 8.2.

There was a freaking Civic there pulling 7.50's all night

My friend ran the Civic and got dusted pretty bad... Then the Civic raced a 67 Camaro that has set the Monroe Record a few times in its day and got half tracked


Anyways, the coolest run of the night was an old Bug believe it or not! It had a very nice American Flag Paint job and was sporting a Front mounted BLOWN n' BUILT 350 Chev!!!!!!!!!

His first pass everyone gathered around to watch! He never got total traction all the way down the track and He hit his brakes the last 200' because he was freaked out by the turn ( Its a Monroe Thing) and still managed a freaking 6.3!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend talked to him after a few passes and he was still unsure of the corner after the finish line but didn't fail to mention that he pull's a high 8 second 1/4 mile!
