Does anybody know what makes the 05 Roush so special. Is it all visual or is it also a performance upgrade. There is a kid around here that has one and i need to know what they got.

 

if its a stage one you have nothing to worry about they are just body kits and wheels. Stang two has better suspension and i think that u can get a supercharger on them (note %100 sure). Stage three has reall nice suspension and a supercharger. All Roush's (supercharged or not) are GT motors, none are 4 valve DOHC cobra motors

 

stage 3 has a blower...stage 1 and 2 like posted above are basically suspension, body, wheel and exhaust upgrades...nothing special...From what ive been reading in MM&FF past few copys 3 valves(which is the new GT motor) put monster numbers out w/ blowers.

 

I wouldnt say he has nothing to worry about. From his mod list it would be a good run between him and an 05 GT.

 

Yea best time ive seen to date from a new GT stock was a 13.3...You should be right around there w/ your mods...Like Mikie said sounds like a good race.

 

Is there any way to tell what stage it is by looking at it. Just in case he doesn't tell me.

 

13.3 stock? Wish I could've seen that. I haven't seen one stock run better that 13.8 yet

Well seeing that 99-04's have ran faster then 13.8's stock the new GT should run mid to lower 13's w/ a decent driver..they get outta the hole very well.
