It doesn't matter what the T/A is capable of.
The Mach took home the White Slip

GOOD KILL!

Re: 03 Mach 1 vs. 02 LS1 T/A

I have seen a T/A with fewer mods than that one smoke a Mach 1 that was running 12.8's. !Driver mod. And I recommend practicing stopipng your car at home since you guys kept rolling through the lights

Whats up this video? Did that guy say 13.6 @ 103mph for the Mach 1? Funny part is that the announcer says "Now this time robert (Mach 1) wins with a 13.6 @ 103.8 " meaning the LS1 won the last run. Hell my POS ran better than that with 2.3 60's. Maybe you guys were racing on Mt St Helen?

Good kill, but I would like to know more info, slips, and why each car was running so slow.

Re: 03 Mach 1 vs. 02 LS1 T/A

Kris hit the nail on the head.

You know that the Mach IS a good run for an LS1. The track humbles so many people its not funny.
Styles... I ran 13.3 in the Mach bone stock so it proves you ran a faster time on that day during better conditions, better driving, etc... than the thread starter and evilbandit. We also dont know their elevations as they could have been racing at a higher alt than us.
I went to the track after running the low 13 slip two weeks later and could only muster 13.7s because of crappy track conditions and humidity.
There is so many variables to consider that its not even funny.

Looks to me in the video also that the Mach and TA were neck and neck through the 60' mark. So spinning badly...yes (both cars)
What do you expect with with gears and street tires.

I agree that with the mods on the TA he should be farther along than the Mach.

Re: 03 Mach 1 vs. 02 LS1 T/A

It appears that both guys are friends and the track is new (no rubber layed down). Also both cars are 12 second cars but the guy mentions humidity and temperture that night. Here is where I found the thread: http://www.racingsyndicate.net/index.php?showtopic=591

Read that and make your own assumptions. I just thought it was a cool video.
