I roll up to the right of 2 turning lanes and pull up next to a Modded 97 Z28...Of course I roll down the window and listen to see what I hear and See...Exhaust is extremely loud...Mild engine lope..after market Rims and Tires and the car is lowered... MY car is bone stock.... So any who we take the turn and he floors it and I stomp right up on his bumper and pull quick to the left and get beside him and take off....Next light comes up and theres 3 lanes...Im in the far right he pulls in the far left and a Vw pulls up in the middle....Lights red and I see the guy in the Vw grinning cause he knows whats about to go down ....SO000 the light hits the Green and for ****s and Grins I stomp it going side ways for 50 feet and I literally slide from my Right lane all the way into the Middle lane right beside him ....He gets a great start of course because he just got right into it with little spin but who cares....any way he's 1 car on me but as soon as my tires grab I close the gap to 1/2 car and I notice my steering is a little off from my erection hitting my steering wheel and 70mph im at 1/4 and come 85 mph were dead even and its all SS from there... he eventually lets off after im a car ahead....But what a race !!! I know if I would of just eased into it I would of got him pretty good 2-3....but who cares....lets make things interesting...... Great RACE from our LT1 Brethren!!!!

 

Iv never raced another camaro, but I hope to someday. Did the guy in the Vw try to run to lol?

 

LOL.....No....he knew he was way out of his league...I think he just enjoyed the race and probably was scared **** less when I spun into his lane...of course we were about 30 feet in front of him lol

ive ran 2 other ls1's. first lost to a former member on here who has a m6. i had my old gears (2.73) which dont move at all off the line with my stock tc, and my cam profile. he smoked me by 2 cars.

at atco raceway, i beat a modded ls1 by 3 cars i wanna say, maybe more. i ran a 12.1 to his 12.6 still fun nonetheless.

 

I have run my own kind.. a modded Trans am. LT1 too, he got me by two car lenghts, but i had four people in the car to his none. Nice run!!
