my dad's friend has a 99 vette hes added a few things to...
Borla exhaust, (somthing) X-pipe (forgot name lol), and a few other things.

They both wanted to race , and instead of letting me race the SS my dad raced it (has only driven the car about 3-4 times.. you get the picture)

they started from about a 5mph roll, the first run, my dad started in 1 then 2, D.. , and went up to OD. The SS hung till about 100-110 then the vette started pulling slowly , we turned around and i told him to leave it in OD (i was in the vette). So, he starts in OD with ASR off... and floors it.. rofl. he spun thru all of first gear, no way he was catchin back up. I would have liked to have seen more runs, or actually raced it myself, but they didnt want me to get a ticked lol, but i guess the SS hung pretty good on that first run.

W/ a better driver that c5 would have taken the lead and pulled sooner, its lighter, more aerodynamic, and has more power even though it doesnt show on paper due to the irs...

 

ouch well! at least it was a vette .. no shame in losin to that
