z06 brake conversion

I've been looking for quite a while for some new brakes that aren't as expensive as say a big brake kit from brembo, baer, or wilwood. I came across this at lmperformance.com. Does anyone have this kit on their car or know anything about it?

Re: z06 brake conversion

The Z06 caliper is a very nice caliper and will probably get you all the performance you need.

I don't know a whole lot about the G2 bracket used to mount the C5/Z06 caliper. I have the Bob Bishop CAliper, which also serves the same purpose. I think I heard that you have to use the LS1 knuckle/spindle to mount the G2 bracket to. The Bob Bishop bracket can use either the LT1 or LS1. Something you might want to check into with LMperformance.

Either of these kits is a major upgrade from our stock brakes.

Here's a picture of my Z06 front brake upgrade. I pieced it all together myself though.

If you can find a set of Bob Bishop brakcket, which is doubtful, it is a litte better deal than the G2 package, but not by much.

I also have the Bishop Brackets on my car. Very pleased. Look good and perform great.
