Why does my ABS light come on?

Why does my ABS light come on?
This problem has been becoming more frquent. When I'm racing, and the tranny shifts to 2nd, she hooks so darn good it causes the ABS light to come on. Any idea's as to what is causing this? Once I turn the car off and restart, the light goes out. Thanks, greg
