I think I remember reading that HAL adj. for the front are 90/10. Check Thunder Racing. Not sure about the back though.

You're going to get the typical response on this one. 90% of the people on this board have tons of money so they only recommend $1000 worth of shocks/struts. All you'll hear is HAL/QA1

Koni makes them too. They're also a bit pricey. I bought Comp Engineering rears for mine and i'll probably go with stock replacement fronts as I have no need for all out drag shocks when I've already reached my cars goal.

Keep an eye on used parts as well.

Just racing?? Maybe look at airbag suspension on rear and junk shocks on the front ( drill a small hole to get the oil out ).

Well, I'll throw in my typical response. The HAL R's are a 90/10 shock. You have 3 choices for spring rates too, 275/300/315. AFCO's double-adj. fronts are a step up, plus AFCO has a ton of spring rates in their AFCOil line.

For the rears, just about anything will work. I'm running AFCOs up front and will probably throw some single-adj QA1s in the back w/ stock springs.

$1000? The complete package for front and rear is only $700, and that's with the "R" series struts. The Konis are even more expensive, and don't come with springs.

I am for QA1 too...yes a bit pricey but actaully affordable compared to others and considering the quality.

I got a complete kit for $689, it is a little more to go with the front drags
