Who has lowerd car using Koni shocks?

I am considering advise from Sam Strano and going with Koni's that will allow me to adjust ride hight. I recently put on C5 Z06 rims on the car and I think its sits a little high.

Anyone use the Koni's to adjust ride hight? Sam says about 3/4 in front and 1/2 in the rear. I trust his advise, but wondering if anyone did this and was satisfied.

BTW: this is in lieu of replacing springs. Just replacing shocks.

Pics before and after appreciated.
