I bought several of my Spohn pieces from Speed Engineering, one of the supporting vendors. I saved a decent amount of money as compared to buying from Spohn directly. As for the Spohn parts being expensive, once you see these parts first hand and witness the quality, you'll know why.

I've bought directly from Spohn, and always had great service. Spohn can also get you other stuff as well: Once I got a Mcleod extended pilot bushing and it cost me less than Summit or Jegs. Best part was I didn't have to pay shipping since I was picking up some Spohn parts, anyway. They tossd it in the box for no additional shipping.

Any aftermarket torque arm will cost you a good amount of change so I wouldn't be too hard on Spohn in that aspect. I have the Spohn crossmember mounted torque arm with the driveshaft safety loop in my car and I can tell you it is one finely made piece.

exactly.

I have the same TQ arm with front and rear loops sitting on the floor waiting for my motor to go back in. Its almost a shame to put such a nice piece under the car.

I was so impressed with the TQ arm I also bought a K member from Spohn that I am even more impressed over. I think I have one of the first ones he made but the quality of the welds and workmanship is second to none.

You get what you pay for with this type of thing.

If you are buying a Spohn torque arm, buy the one that mounts to the chassis, not to the stock bracket on the tailshaft housing. And get an adjustable TA. You need it to adjust the pinion angle as power increases.

For use with stock manifolds or shorty headers/y-pipe.

For use with Longtubes.

I dont see why this wouldnt work with the stock exhaust also. The crossmember just dips down to alow more clearance for an aftermarket exhaust.
I have this one with a front driveshaft loop waiting to be installed. It is a very nice piece.
