where are the adjustments for caster/camber?

like it says, how do alignment shops get it back to true?

i know how to get the toe-in back to true after any susp. mods, but i don't know where any adjustment would be for caster, and camber.

are there cam bolts in the top of the upper a-arm or something?

The lower A arm mounts to the K member; the K member has slotted holes for your adjustments.

No, its not the same. Totally different front suspensions in the 3rd Gen (strut) and 4th Gen (unequal A-arms) cars. In the 4th Gens, the alignment is handled exactly as stated in the first response...... elongated holes for the vertical and horizontal bolts that hold the lower A-arm to the K-member.

**** I didn't know that, why did they go back to S.L.A.? struts were desinged to replace the uper a arm and upper balljoint which saved weight and space and made it easier to work on. I need to take a look at a fourth gen. does it use shims or cams to adjust the caster/camber?

The way I recall, for suspensions with short travel, SLA is a better setup than struts... less prone to deflection under load. For long travel suspensions struts tend to be better because they have less gain... they hold their geometry for more of the suspension stroke. Or to put in another way, SLA is more rigid but has less of a 'sweet spot' than struts.

Thats why road race cars use sla and rally cars use struts.
