Whats up with my brakes?

Re: Whats up with my brakes?
Dealership will likely tell you that you need a new sensor. However, I've seen that many times it is just a bad connection. My Trans Am did the SAME thing and it was rather dangerous! All I did was unplug each electrical connector (front wheels, rear differential, ABS module under the hood) and then slightly bend the prongs over... just a little... and then plug it back in. After I did this the car never had another problem with the LOW TRAC light coming no and me almost running through the intersection or into the back of somebody!
This will take a little time because you have to jack it up to remove the front wheels/tires and to get to the rear, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than a new sensor!
If you have a buddy who can scan it for you with one of the scanners that can read brake codes, you can narrow it down to where the problem is and then you won't have as much jacking to do.
Also, this is the LT1 Engine tech forum. I'll move this to the brakes forum

I had this issue when my 95 Z28 was under warranty; the dealership said they remove the rear ABS sensor (mounted in the top of the differential) and cleaned the sensor.
