What subframe connectors

Do the ones that dont connect in the middle still work well?... and does anyone reccomend a certain company?

UMI and Spohn both make a nice product. I am not partial to boxed or tublular, but they have to be weld in.

tubular is the way to go

the 3 point (connect in the middle) are stronger, but the 2 point works just as well.

I went with umi's tubular 3 point sfc's (umi is the only company that makes tubular sfcs btw), because they highly recommended them over the two point when running a tunnel braced torque arm.

I have the Spohn two-point, tubular, weld-in style connectors. They tuck up nicely and made a huge difference.

Global West makes some big tubular ones. If I had known about them waaay back when I did mine, I'd have gone that route.

Whats the loss of ground clearance like with those? They say they are the tightest fitting of the 3pts out there, but want to get a owners perspective.

The SLP DD's are a stout piece. (surprising..I'm recommending SLP stuff.. ..)

My buddy has them and his car will not twist AT ALL! he can jack the car up from the center and he allways has one rear wheel off the ground entering/exiting his DW.

Bayer, ya got SFC's spelled SCF's in your sig, just noticed that.

Also, what kind of SFC's do you have and hows the ground clearance with the SLP's?

clearance is great! they tucked very well.... looking at it from the side, the only thing you can see is the part a part of the bracket that connects to the lca's. I'm sure I could get rid of that if I ever got around to welding mine in (mine are just bolted in at the moment... I really need to redo them). Driving around, I can't give an honest opinion because when I put my SFC's on I also put on a tunnel braced torque arm that sits extra low for long tubes, which did kill my ground clearance a good bit.
