What STB?

i was wondering if you guys had an opinion on what STB i should buy? idk what color i should go w/ either. my car is silver, and i have a LT4 intake, so idk if i should go w/ red, black, or silver...i have all spohn stuff under my car so i thought about buying a spohn but those are red and i'm not sure if red would look good under there or not? let me know your guys' thoughts and opinions.

thanks!

I like the looks of the Hotchkis over other brands. They all do the same thing though so it basically comes down to looks.

Re: What STB?

Probably red or black would be standard. You can also get it powdercoated/painted the same color of your car

Re: What STB?

I would buy the cheapest 2 point bar that uses the standard 1.25" tubing and 0.095" wall thickness.

Black fits in more like it's a factory option. Red stands out and has the bling factor and gets attention. Either one looks good IMO. (I have black)

You should get on the Queer Eye show. They'll even hook you up with a matching pair of shoes and a belt to go with it...

Re: What STB?

Hotchkis is the way to go. Why? Yes it's more money, but my point comes in with the ease of removal. I had the SLP and a freind had BMR. The inside bolts are hard to get a wrench on Especially near the a/c lines. The Hotchkis has mounts that are Separate from the brace. The brace then comes off the mounts by 1 bolt on ethier side. This makes for easy removal when working on the motor.

Sometimes price isn't everything.

Re: What STB?

Never had one on any of my Camaro's. They truly make that big of an impact? I've also heard the 3point style is prone to cracking the windshield under hard flex.

I just did a review of my 2 point bar in the suspension/chassis/brakes section of this board. You can look there if you want.
