Would a regular 98+ F-body spare work? I did searches here and ls1tech.com that came up absolutly worthless.

 

If you're running 13" rotors mostly likely you'll need a C4 spare.

 

the ls1 spare wont work, its a 16 inch rim u need a 17
i remember someone did post a solution
it involved, i think, the rim from a new gto, and the tire from a mazda, maybe an rx8

i could be wrong about which rim and tire but i know that it was posted on camaroz28

 

The C4 spare is a 17" rim; it clears my friend's 13" Baer setup.

 

So a C4 spare might work? A GTO spare would be too pricy, defeating the bang for the buckness of the C5 setup. Any other ideas?

does the c4 spare fit inside the spare tire well?

 

My freind has a nitrous bottle mounted in the spare tire wheel well so never tired to fit the spare there.

 

how much can a gto spare be??? i paid 50 bucks for 4 steelies at a junk yard, i cant imagine them charging that for a spare.
