What is more likely to bend first?

I hit a curb, fairly hard one night and my front end alignment got knocked out of whack. I lowered the car and went to get it re-aligned and there wasnt enough adjustment to get it back to factory specs. I put the stock springs back in, and got it re-aligned, and it wont hold the alignment and now my front tires are wearing on the outside. My guess is either the spindle is bent, or the control arm. Which one is the weaker link? Anybody know? I also have put a new rack on it b/c mine was leaking, and the tie rod ends are in good shape too.

Did you put the new rack on it before, or after hitting the curb? Did you check the inner tie rod assembly? You might have damaged it where it connects to the rack, or further in.
