I want to buy one of those kits that replace all the worn bushings blah blah etc etc. So what is a good kit to use to do this to the car?? I figure since Im going to be doing some ball joints, tie rods, etc I should also get a start on the bushings.

To clarify I am looking for a kit for the WHOLE car. Thanks

I found this one, what does everyone think? I think it is a more complete kit, everything right in one box.

Suspension Kit

 

I've used the Energy Suspension kit in both of my 4th gens, and in my 3rd gen with good results. Just keep in mind that poly bushings, no matter how well you lube them with that moose jizz lube they include, will eventually start to squeak. I don't mind it so much, but I've been using them on my cars since the 80's and think it's normal to chirp over speed bumps.

 

Ahhh its cool Ill prob go this route and just take my cars squeaking as my baby telling me she loves me for it haha. Thanks for the post bro, Ill def check on these and post my thoughts and comments on them.

 

I put the ES poly kit in the car in 1998.... and it has never had a squeak. Only ES parts left are the front upper and lower A-arm bushings and the tranny mount, because everything else has been upgraded over the years.

 

Very good to know on that man, def even more so!! and Injuneer I thank you for all your help with everything man. My car finally seems to be getting somewhere.

 

FYI, you don't want to use them in the front lower A-arms, in the rear vertical bushing location (to stiff) and in both ends of the rear LCAs (also to stiff).

 

The ES poly design revises the vertical joint to a "ball" configuration. You have to knock the stock bushing "can" out of the A-arm, and insert a spherical poly seat in its place, then insert a spherical poly bushing.

 

Okay cool so the whole setup is pretty good, and I wont have any problems basically...well aside from installation? haha.

I haven't had any trouble yet. They've only been in a few years though. I'll post back in another 15 or so and let you know.
