What is this bracket?

Can anyone tell me what this bracket is for and where it goes? Thanks.

looks like the the bracket that goes with the drivers side front sway bar clamp. had to take it off several times to lube the bushings. what do i win? EDIT: fyi, the bracket points up. the two holes run lengthwise, and the single hole is above them, basically the pointy part is pointing up.

i would try and venture a guess
but it might help if i knew what year, which f-body, what engine, tranny, etc etc

It's a 95 camaro z28, lt1 t56.

was my info correct? it looks exactly like the part i was talking about. the access panel needs to be opened to install it and the bracket is line of layered with the clamp. i can take a pic tomorow if you cant visualize it.
