Weird noise help

Ive got a problem thats been driving me crazy for almost 2yrs now. When I go over bumps a get a wierd noise from the rear of the car. It almost sounds like there is a chain hanging from the under the car and its clanking on the underbody. However, I have looked for hanging things multiple times and nothing. I recently took it to the shop and although they could hear it they didnt know what it was either. Could it be something in the drivetrain or could it be my LCA's? I really dont know. Anyone else have this problem or know what it could be? Any help would be appreciated.

If it's a clunking noise your talking about every time you go over a bump, I have the same problem to, its coming from the right rear... I looked everywhere for the noise and cant seem to find it so im thinking that it might be a bad shock or the bushings...

I really dont pay attention to it cause i turn up my radio to drown it out, but it does get annoying after awhile.

Add me to this list of weird rear end clunks. Please let me know if any of you find it, really annoying over speed bumps.

I had a rattle and it turned out to be a loose nut/bolt on the torque arm. Anyways, you're going to get a bunch of different responses... There are many places where we get rattles.

I just replaced the shocks and springs 50 miles ago and its still there. I hate it because the car looks good but it sounds like a rusty old beater. When i go over a bump, its quite loud and people near the car can hear it clearly. Anyone else?

bump stops are missing and rearend hitting body or even exhaust hitting the rearend can cause this. Sometimes even a loose bolt can cause so tighten all bolts to double check.
